+1 to this, with a *HEAVY* emphasis that we get a clearer picture of how this will impact development. Yesterday, I read in some point in this thread that a poll should be conducted about what our release cycle should be. I'm opposed to such a poll because I think ultimately it is up to the Factory team and contributors to decide what is realistically do-able for them.
It's a rare, but it seems I do agree with you; Coolo and his people/staff voice can't be ignored on this, afterall, they are the ones which place the ultimate effort in openSUSE... This is one of the rare cases which should weighted carefully, and I don't believe that Coolo and his people will ignore some of the arguments, though they should have the ultimate leverage power in this. Just grab representatives of the biggest projects with the release team and see what can be improved; In my opinion, I don't care if it takes one year... As long as the decision once it's taken it's for a long period of time... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
