[opensuse-programming] Do you guys do any programming?
Hi guys, Here's the thing: I subscribed to this mailgroup one or two weeks ago because I'm interested in programming on opensuse. But it doesn't seem like there's any activity here! Or did I do something wrong? jo -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-programming+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-programming+owner@opensuse.org

Or go ahead and ask your question if it's not packaging specific. I think a fair number of people are subscribed to this list, but it sees very few questions. Here's the archive: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-programming/ I just realized it's not part of the index at: http://opensuse.markmail.org/ That is where I normally take a look at the 2013 and newer archived messages for other opensuse lists. Yes, lots. But not much that lends itself to a generic-programming list. I've been on this list for years - it is very quiet. But most of the questions that do come up are reasonable. Ask questions, see if people respond. The thing with programming is that answers become language or domain specific rather quickly, thus leaving the domain of 'generic'. So often better help is found on a more focused list. -- Adam Tauno Williams <mailto:awilliam@whitemice.org> GPG D95ED383 Systems Administrator, Python Developer, LPI / NCLA -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-programming+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-programming+owner@opensuse.org

I do lots of programming, virtually every day. Have been doing so for some 25-30 years :-) -- Per Jessen, Zürich (13.7°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - your free DNS host, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-programming+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-programming+owner@opensuse.org

Jonas, This list is for people getting started with programming on openSUSE. What is it that we can help you with? openSUSE is a great development platform for many use cases. Please let us know how we can help you. Thanks, Cameron On 04/25/2014 01:42 AM, Jonas wrote:
