Hi,
Does anyone here use Eclipse, Hibernate and the Hibernate tools for Eclipse under SuSE Linux? I cannot get them to work. E.g., the Hibernate mapping and configuration XML editor extensions do not work at all.
Hi, Have you checked the 'error log' view? Or perhaps 'help' -> 'about eclipse sdk' -> configuration details -> view error log? Good luck.

Hi,

There are two (distinct) errors reported: -==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==- Info 2005-11-30 23:55:05.408 Could not load library: libcore_3_1_0.so. This library provides platform-specific optimizations for certain file system operations. This library is not present on all platforms, so this may not be an error. The resources plug-in will safely fall back to using java.io.File functionality. -==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==- Error 2005-12-01 10:09:00.217 Invalid Menu Extension (Path is invalid): org.hibernate.eclipse.launch.LaunchMenuDelegateMenu -==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==- The first one seems relatively innocuous, but perhaps is a meaningful clue. The second seems more directly related, but it doesn't tell me anything.
Good luck.
Thanks. Do you successfully use the Hibernate tools with Eclipse? If so, does your configuration differ from mine in any of the details I mentioned? Randall Schulz
