Installation Qt3 on SuSE 9.3 Professional
Hi, everybody, Does anybody have experience of installing Qt3 on SuSE 9.3 professional? I mean that after the installation, I can use "qmake -project", "qmake" and "make" to compile my Qt C++ source code (*.h and *.cpp, for example). So far, I only installed Qt3 libraries from YaSt, wondering whether or not I have source code on my machine at al. I also downloaded free edition of Qt3, but am not sure if I could safely compile it on my machine, not resulting in conflict with currently installed qt libraries. You need to have the following packages installed: qt3 qt3-devel qt3-devel-tools qmake and the other QT3-related tools are located in the /usr/lib/qt3/bin directory. I have had the commercial version of Qt 3 through 4 installed along side my SuSE install libs in 9.3 for all of its life, no problem. If your not using the commercial version, I'd just stick with the devel packages in YaST. B=) On Tuesday 18 October 2005 6:25 pm, Zhaowu Luo wrote:
