Hello, I have a linux computer with 4 GB RAM. And I want to start a job which allocates almost 4GB. But the maximum amout of memory that could be allocated for one job is about 2.3 GB. I tried already to compile a new kernel with the kernel/user space parameter changed. But no change occured. Does anyone know something about this kind of problem?
