RE: [suse-programming-e] Remote programming (May be OT)

Adolph, Why not NFS mount the filesystem containing the source code on the other box to your machine? This may sound like a real off the wall question, but .... Is there a way to use a program like kdevelop on my local machine yet have the code on a solaris or another linux box? I know I can run a solaris CDE using X windows redirection (-query), or use ssh to get into the server, but I want to leave the code on the server but use an ide on my machine. THis would also mean running gcc/g++ and gdb over the network or calling the version on the server.
