Hi, Much thanks in advance for any help with this! I'd like to use the latest Gimp, which requires GTK >= 2.2.2 ... I'm not sure how to do the upgrade. Ideally, I could use the redhat RPM, but I'm not sure if that would work ; also, I'm not sure what packages this would upgrade (and what extra rpms I may need), if any besides the GTK lib package. If not, should I uninstall gtk2 packages before compiling the tarball? What directories need to be set, etc, so it will correctly replace the GTK2 packages?
