Hi.
I need help.
I have SUSE Linux 10.0 with kernel 2.6.13. Now I want to update kernel to last stable version.
I need answer on next question: 1. Can I use last kernel version from official linux kernel site for update? Yes, but you are better off using the versions from SuSE.
Are you sure Jerry? I thought it was a big deal to upgrade pre 2.6.14 to post 2.6.14 because of udev changes in the kernel that require userland changes. Not to say it can't be done, but I think you need to pay attention to udev.
