Maybe somebody here can help. There is a bug in unzip in that it can uncompress files with multibyte encoded file names but it can't print it. The reason is that unzip uses isprint and isprint can't handle multibyte characters. The solution would be to use iswprint but that would require calling mbrtowc which I've never used before. So gven the original char * r; if (!isprint(*r)) ... How would the replacement using iswprint and mbrtowc look like?
