10.1 won't boot on PM 6500
I just tried installing v10.1 on a PowerMac 6500. It has the stock 603e/250 w/ 128MB RAM. BootX will restart the machine, but the system locks up after the kernel initializes the system and then it does nothing.....Did they remove support for the 603? Or is there something else I am missing. I will try to see if I can get v10.0 to boot on this one(I never tried it since I just got the system yesterday). Thanx ___________________________________________________ Try the New Netscape Mail Today! Virtually Spam-Free | More Storage | Import Your Contact List http://mail.netscape.com

YaST just got too fat, thats why I did not test 10.1 on any oldworld. It barely installs on a 160MB G3 iBook. But the kernel should boot, how far does it get, do you have any details?
