hey all, first, thank you suse for making a PPC version of my fav distro. I purchased the package to show my support..but just wanted to thank you again :) next.. i briefly looked around the archives and google for this info..and couldn't find anything..so please bear with me if its a repeat question ;) I installed mozilla from the CDROM..it gave me these debug problems so I thought maybe I would do better with the FTP site..so I installed it from the site and ran mozilla once as root. just plain ol mozilla it ran what seemed like in debug mode..so i figured i should quit it and run it with a normal user. I did that..and it still runs in debug mode! i get various messages sent to the console, and it eats about 100% of my resources. I'm on a g3 400 128mb ram.. it shows something like moz-debug=0 on the console..so i wonder..its being told not to debug, yet it acts like its debugging. Netscape is horrible and NS6's smartinstall isn't so smart.. I'd love to get mozilla going. so my question is this.. does anyone have the same problem..and if not, what did i do wrong? how can i get an alternative browser going on this system? rpm -q mozilla shows mozilla-postM16-37 any suggestions? thanks in advance chrissy
