I have been looking around for the specs and brand of this cards but I have not found any.
I ordered the G4 with SCSI card and documentation, but they forgot the last part of my request.
Anyone know Is it Adaptec?

No... It's a dual channel Ultra 2/LVD ExpressPCI Pro card (UL2D), from ATTO Technology; slightly different from the "original" card (lacks some connectors, both internal and external), but AFAIK it contains the standard ATTO firmware (current version: 1.6.3, but I wouldn't update unless it is giving you problems). See www.attotech.com.

It should work with the sym53c8xx driver. Can you try this kernel and this ramdisk to boot into the installer?
ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/ppc/kernel/2.4.1/k_deflt-2.4.1-3.ppc.rpm ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/ppc/kernel/2.4.1/vmlinux-deflt-2.4.1-3.gz ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/ppc/kernel/2.4.1/ramdisk.image.deflt.gz
You can check in linuxrc -> system info -> kernel messages if the card and the attached devices appear.

Thanks a lot for all the help.
The problem persists.
I have rewritten the yaboot.conf file 50 times and booted both with and without SCSI drivers.
For now I have "given up", tomorrow I am going to install it on the ATA drive.
But any last ideas are more than welcome.
Thanks a lot
