Installation problems

      Hi, I have another question

This one is regarding installation on my G4

This is the problem:

I have a G4 (see spec. below) and I am unable to install

This is what happens: I have prepared the SCSI disk for Linux and made a
boot partition 30Mb and put the suseboot folder in it. I then choose the
partition containing the suseboot folder and tries to startup the install by
holding down the "C".  The machine is trying to start up but the screen goes
black and the machine does not respond any more, this happens if I hold down
the "C" or not.

This is what I think it can be:
The machine is set up with SCSI and ATA
The DVD is installed on ID 0 and the ATA is on ID 1
In the manual it states that there could be problems with the ATA setup,
however I have tried everything I know (not very much :-)

Can someone help?

And also help with the scripts?  It took me 1 hour to install SuSE PPC on my
powerbook but the G4 have taken me over a week.
