Dial-on-demand with Suse
Hi! I´m trying to set up a dial-on-demand gateway to be used as a dial-up server for my internal machines. Suse 7.1 PPC has this kind of functionality built-in and I´ve tried to just fill in my settings, but I can´t get it to work. What happens is that I get some errors during the boot which says this: /etc/init.d/rc3.d/S09wvdial.dod: line 8: 238 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/wvdial --dump-conf $SECTION $WVPARAMS >$TMPFILE /etc/init.d/rc3.d/S09wvdial.dod: [: =: unary operator expected /etc/init.d/rc3.d/S09wvdial.dod[232]: starting pppd 192.168.99.1:192.168.99.99 modem crtscts defaultroute -detach user ipcp-accept-local ipcp-accept-remote usepeerdns call wvdial demand idle 180 noipdefault connect "/usr/bin/wvdial --chat "... [PID=250] ls: /var/run/ppp?.pid: No such file or directory Has anybody had the same problems or anything similar? Maybe this isn´t just a problem with the PPC Edition but that is what I use.
