Small problem At home I use without problem an ide cdwriter on a PC to burn CD I just have to emulate it as a scsi drive On the iMac, I apply the same configuration in /etc/lilo.conf change line: append="hdb=ide-scsi" (I checked, drive is well hdb) then type "lilo" to fix thr config in /etc/modules.conf: change alias scsi_hostadapter off to alias scsi_hostadapter ide-scsi Everything goes fine. If I type cdrecord -scanbus the cdwriter is detected as scsi drive. I change /etc/fstab -> I can mount the drive Though, I have a BIG problem, if I want to eject the CD I get an error message (input/output error or something like that) and the CD does not get out. Has somebody solved the problem? Alain Barthélemy
