Does anyone know how to set BootX to enable the G4 cache? I recently aquired a stock apple G4/400/1M chip and installed it in my PowerMac G3/266. I have noticed a huge speed boost under OS 9, but I have been unable to get the l2 cache override to work in Linux. BootX's GrabG3CacheSetting program won't work since it is a G4 chip, and I have been unable to come up with any way to make it work from searching on Google.....any help would be greatly appriciated. ___________________________________________________ Try the New Netscape Mail Today!
