Hello list, I try to find the APM paket (should located in the series ap) according to the sdb database articel "apmd". But there is no APM paket on the PowerPC 7.1 CDROM and as well a series ap. As well, I would like to run a web cam on my powerbook G3 Wallstreet (old world) across a USB PCMCIA card. But the cardmanager did not identify the card. In the list of supported card I did not find USB cards, but this was for Intel Computers. Any tipps ? Best regards Richard

For Powermanagement on PPC you need the package pmud. For SuSE PPC 7.1 it's available on ftp.suse.com. You'll find the exact path and addtitional information on: http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/olh_ppc_sleep.html (the site is only available in english). A list of supported cards is on your system in /usr/share/doc/packages/pcmcia/ SUPPORTED.CARDS as well as on following website: http://linuxppc.org/hardware/pcmcia/index.php3?css_ok=1 The support of PCMCIA is not as well as on Intel Computers.
