OpenSUSE support for PReP based IBM RS/6000 machine
Hi all, I am very interested in installing OpenSUSE on my IBM RS/6000 43p-140 (PReP based) machine, but I noticed from the following web page that version 10.1 doesn't have support for PReP: <QUOTE> "Note: 10.1 has no PReP support as it was temporary dropped from the kernel.org kernel." </QUOTE> http://en.opensuse.org/Supported_PowerPC_hardware I am wondering if PReP support has been added back to version 10.2 Alpha 1? If no, is it likely that it'll be added to the 10.2 release? Thanks, -Rongsheng

I can not promise that the PReP support will be back in time. Use 10.0 for the time being, its supposed to work ok on the 43p 140.
