Due to peculiarities in the Apple hardware, the disk controller for G3 and G4 (at least) cannot be detected by the kernel, thus it must either be built into the kernel, be placed in the MODULES_LOADED_ON_BOOT, or manually loaded. You will need to do the latter. The module name is pata_macio. Larry -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-ppc+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-ppc+owner@opensuse.org
