Hi all, I've installed SuSE 7.1 on my Indigo iBook (rev. C) and it runs well. As always, there are a few items I'd like to tweak: 1. The trackpad responds to a tap as if I were clicking the mouse. I don't want this feature and once disabled it when I was running LinuxPPC on this machine but have forgotten how I did it. How can I disable tapping on the trackpad and leave only the "click" bar working? 2. I've followed the instructions in the manual to get AirPort working, but no luck so far. How can I do that? -- Tom Dove *** Home page at toad.net/~tdove/ *** * Sailing, genealogy, ham radio *

well, I'm not sure if SUSE has something hidden away in it to curb that damn trackpad, but for a friend's PISMO, I used 'trackpad', an RPM you can find on: http://linuxppc.org/software/index/developers/geiseri/kde2/trackpad-0.1-1.pp... Worked fine, just follow the very simple instructions. Joss -- http://www.josswinn.org
Joss, Thank you very much. Trackpad did the trick; that was the utility I had used before, but had forgotten it. -- Tom On Friday, May 18, 2001, at 10:29 AM, Joss Winn wrote:
