Linux on G4 -> Network-Problem
Hello, I've got the following problem: I just installed Linux on my PowerMacintosh G4 (2x450). It acutally (after some hours of setting it up...) works fine, but I can't do yet a network connection to my cable modem, because of the fact that I don't know, what card I have to specify in the menue, where I can choose the type of my network-card: It gives me a list of many cards (3Com 3c501, AMD Lance...etc), but I don't know which one is the correct one. Does any body know which network-card is installed on the G4? With best regards Matthias Geissbuehler
Hi Try to setup the network with yast2, not with yast. Yast2 will recognize the networkcard automatically. Greetings Lukas Dettwiler
