[opensuse-ppc] openSUSE on PS3
I saw a thread in the archives where Peter Flodin has created a page to get openSUSE running on the PS3. I a PS3 myself, and was curious to know if any progress has been made. If it's just a matter of testing something, I'd be more than happy to do so. All you need is a kernel with all required drivers compiled in, then pick CD1/suseboot/initrd.gz and boot into the installer. Perhaps with the cmdline options 'start_shell' to poke around. Run 'inst_setup_ssh -n blah' to start a sshd and setup the root password, dont forget to run 'dhcpcd eth0' to configure the network. Then open a bug and attach the 'lsprop -R /proc/device-tree' and the hwinfo output.
