Hi, I have a Motorola Powerstack running Windows NT at the moment. I think it has a special BIOS for Windows - even the bootmonitor has some Windows look and feel - as far as I remember, for running AIX on the machine, another BIOS was needed. Does anybody have experience installing Linux on such a system? Should it be possible in principle? The BIOS version is: Motorola PowerStack RISC PC Firmware: Motorola PowerPC Firmware Version 3.04.08 96/09/10 MCG IR03 Thanks for any help! Joachim

It should be a PReP based motherboard, so CD1 should boot. Try the *prep files in ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/ppc/kernel/ You have to `dd` it onto a floppy. Gruss Olaf -- $ man clone BUGS Main feature not yet implemented...
