[opensuse-ppc] Skype Compiled for PPC
Reference to the Skype website reveals they do have a version for linux ... but compiled for the x86 range of computers only. Has anyone on this list compiled the latest version, or can you please direct me to a web address where I will find same? Richard PS Running 10.2 on this older B +W G4 400 MHz machine. Too good to throw away ... and very cool on my desk. -- -- Irena & Richard Jenkins Canberra, AUSTRALIA ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-ppc+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-ppc+help@opensuse.org

It's proprietary software using a proprietary protocol. Nobody else can compile it.

PowerBook G3 266 MHz with 10.3 repaired in October and recompiled over 1000 Packman packages inbetween ;-) -- Machs gut | http://www.iivs.de/schwinde/buerger/tremmel/ | http://packman.links2linux.de/ Manfred | http://www.knightsoft-net.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-ppc+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-ppc+help@opensuse.org
