[opensuse-ppc] Solved: osc on minimal server install
Hi, I had been having problems installing osc due to its python-urlgrabber dependency. This problem persisted now that finally a new set of packages got published to powerpc.opensuse.org. It turned out, python-urlgrabber had a dependency on python = 2.7, which conflicted with patterns-openSUSE-minimal_base-conflicts. Uninstalling the latter resolved the issue. Where does that package come from, why doesn't it like python 2.7, and can we fix this properly? There is a similar report for 12.1 x86_64 [1]. patterns-openSUSE-minimal_base is a known issue, if you want the real "python" and not just "python-base" it needs to be replaced by a larger set. So it is fine if this pattern is disabled, it is the same on the x86 openSUSE.
