PCMCIA is currrently not available for 6.4-ppc. The .19 pcmcia package seems to work with ppc, but I had no time yet to test it and make a package.

Please try that page if it helps. The vanilla kernel.org kernel should run fine on your PB, no special patches needed AFAIK.
