[opensuse-ppc] Bootloader problem on IBM Power7 LPAR
Hello, i have installed openSuSE 13.1 on a IBM Power7 LPAR. The Problem is that the bootloader can not installed. I installed the openSuSE on LVM (with multipath). Yaboot (ybin) ist not available. Is it possible to get it work with grub2 ? Or is there another bootloader to boot ? # grub2-install Path `/boot/grub2' is not readable by GRUB on boot. Installation is impossible. Hi, i made a new install without LVM. grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.conf grub2-install --force --recheck --no-nvram /dev/sda1 170+1 records in 170+1 records out Installation finished. It seems your PReP partition is quite big. parted /dev/sda resize 1 8M grub2-install /dev/sda1
