I'm trying to install SuSE 7.3 via FTP. I'm installing on a PowerPC 7500 with G3 upgrade card, Mac OS 9.1 installed. Following the instructions, I downloaded BootX and "install-oldworld" kernel. Starting up BootX, the computer goes to "Linux mode" (for lack of a better term) and begins initial start up. The installer begins running, but soon stops with the last line of text "Searching for infofile....." I've waited up to 2 hours for the installation to progress, but nothing else happens. Any help is appreciated. -- Ryan D. Evans <rdevans@nc.rr.com> "In these latter-day / degenerate times, / cherry blossoms everywhere!" --Kobayashi Issa

Try to put a CD in the CD-Rom drive, and leave always one in the drive. mesh scsi driver is broken. Gruss Olaf -- A: No. Q: Should I include quotations after my reply?
