Thanks for the fast reply I have tried them all. I am using Netbeans, but I is graphical and does not allow for "text" code. Emacs and Xemacs does not recognize Java code, it treats it like pure text (that¹s ok) but I was looking for an "intelligent" editor, that would recognize (some) errors. Could there be a plug in for emacs that I don¹t have? Regards Even
