The new iMacs are supported, I tried it a few days before we did the final 7.1 master CD. The screen was a bit shifted to the left, XFree86 4.0.2 will not work. But you can install Linux, CD1 should be bootable.
I know, It's running fine at the moment. XFree86 4.0.2 is not working as you said (256 color framebuffer srv is). I hope the next XFree86 version supports the Rage128 Ultra, should be not much difference with the Rage128 pro. May be it's just a detection problem (SaX2 says it doens't know the device ID when I try to install ATI Rage128 srv) I also have some modem problems, Yast2 says it detected an unkown modem device which it seems to be able to use. I have to try tough.
You want to look for an update kernel on the FTP server in the next days, 2.4.5 will be the next version: ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/ppc/kernel/
Thanks, I will take a look there. Jaap-Jan

I tried to build a Xserver with the new PCI device id, but it didnt find the device. Maybe I missed something. I did not include the new device id in sax2 because the Xserver doesnt know it anyway. Can you tell me the device ID again? /sbin/lspci -n

I didn't try to access the modem, but it should work. Gruss Olaf -- $ man clone BUGS Main feature not yet implemented...
