I have a DTC PCI card with the RZ1000 module. This card shows up in the lspci list, but I can't figure out how to enable it. I tried modeprobe rz1000, but was told module not found. The card is assigned IRQ 25. Am I using the correct module name? Do I need to complie the module(and if so, how?)? I'm looking to use it for IDE CD drives only, and have read that there are some known bugs with this chipset, but it appears that there is a stable driver for it. Check if the card does match these vendor/device id pairs: include/linux/pci_ids.h:672:#define PCI_VENDOR_ID_PCTECH 0x1042 include/linux/pci_ids.h:673:#define PCI_DEVICE_ID_PCTECH_RZ1000 0x1000 include/linux/pci_ids.h:674:#define PCI_DEVICE_ID_PCTECH_RZ1001 0x1001 See lspci -n In drivers/ide/Kconfig, remove the '&& X86' from the 'config BLK_DEV_RZ1000' block.
