Re: Linux PPC User Digest V26 #6
I've just installed SuSE 7.0 PPC on a G3-upgraded PB 2400 -- or more accurately, on an external scsi hard disk. It seems to have installed OK, except that the colors in X are messed up. I've tried configuring it with sax2, but the colors seem unaffected by anything I do; e.g. no matter what depth I try to set it to, it always seems to run in 16 bit. I've also installed SuSE 7.0 on an iMac, and that seems to work perfectly. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Andrew Dabrowski Bloomington, IN USA

Edit /etc/XF86Config manually, change the Defaultcolordepth and the Depth values to 15 or 24. Gruss Olaf -- $ man clone BUGS Main feature not yet implemented...
