I have a few more questions about my PowerMac. I am still running Beta 3, and probably will wait for the official release on 10/6 to update. This PowerMac has a built-in firewire port. Can it be enabled, and what is the module name? The Mac also has a PlanB Video In adpater. Can it be enabled, and do any programs like the TV viewer make use of it? When I Swapped out the built-in cd-rom for a SCSI CD burner, it doesn't recognize the burner as a burner. Will it see the burner, or do I need to re-install. Any help would be appriciated. Thanx. __________________________________________________________________ Switch to Netscape Internet Service. As low as $9.95 a month -- Sign up today at http://isp.netscape.com/register Netscape. It can, as long as it is no PCI Lynx card. Modules will be loaded automatically during boot, ohci1394 is the hostcontroller driver.

I dont know if it still works in 2.6.

Paste /proc/sys/dev/cdrom/info
