Do you really need cmode and mclk? There are some Powerbooks where the kernel doesnt not switch to 1024x768 or 800x600. You need either "video=atyfb:vmode:14" for 1024x768 or vmode:10 for 800x600. Run "fbset -a -depth 8 ; sax2 -a". I have one report where that did not work for some reason. Use "sax2 -m 0=fbdev" to use the fbdev driver instead of the ati driver. The depth 32, 24 and 16 may not work correctly, use depth 15. Gruss Olaf -- $ man clone BUGS Main feature not yet implemented...
