I use to work with a Pentium 3 with 512 MB RAM. With MS XP or Windows 2000 the speed is higher than in KDE but even with KDE and XFree 4 (Mandrake 8.1)working is no problem except of the lack of some programs(Homesite,Photoshop). But what is the experience with OS X? Do you have to wait while resizing a window? Let's say working with a PB 550 with 512 MB RAM. How is it to develop JavaApps?
