From yast2-sound-2.15.2-1.1.ppc_en.info, it looks

Today I have reinstalled 10.2 over my working 10.1 installation now that bug 217300 appeared to be resolved and I noticed there was a yast2-sound-2.15.2-1.1.ppc.rpm in the update repo. I have an early G5, 1.6 GHz desktop. I have done all the available updates, including the yast2-sound. There is no sound. When I go to Yast - Hardware - Sound, there is only one card listed, Integrated Sound (awacs), and it is configured as sound card 0 and the driver is snd-powermac. Edit only gives the snd-enable-beep option and nothing else. perhaps like I need snd-aoa driver. How do I switch to that driver, or how do I do whatever it is I need to do to get sound working.
