Hello, Having just installed SUSE 6.4 on a 400MHz G3 Powerbook (Model 1999, Bronze keys), I have a problem with the keymap on X-Windows: When running without X-Windows the keymap is OK. Choosing US or German map via Yast works as expected. When I perform startx, the keymap changes: Typing into an open console (bash) will show that the keys are mapped so that the beginning of the uppermost row (numbers) corresponds to the quwerty row, the other keys have an inconsisten mapping, difficult to relate here. I am using the default installation and configuration that comes with the 6.4 release of SUSE Linux. I have Apple USB mouse enabled, which works with an external USB mouse but not the built-in Mouse-Pad of the PowerBook. Please help me be able to use my PowerBook with SUSE Linux and X-Windows. Thanks! Iannis Zannos SIM
