Hello, well, Iam still having trouble with not being able to mount data cds. As I mentioned before, this only occurs some time after booting and can be fixed by a reboot. I get "Mount: wrong medium type" on my screen and the following log message: Jun 10 15:10:16 linux kernel: cdrom: pid 22465 must open device O_NONBLOCK! Jun 10 15:10:16 linux kernel: cdrom: open failed. Does anyone have any idea what is doing this? I wondered if it was a process that is causing it, but I have killed almost every user running process, and it still occurs. thanks Joss -- http://www.josswinn.org
