a few weeks ago i posted my trouble with my SMC NICs (9432TX, EtherPower II) to the list -- unfortunately (but thanks to the guys who tried to help me!) i didn't have any success bringing this cards to work...

which card should i use now? i need one with a rock stable driver (yip, guess that this is normal) and it should be 'quality ware'...

i used to build in two nics (config is 8200/120 with on board ethernet, 10mbit), one for nfs (adressing my sun workstation) and the other for netatalk; the rest should be done by the on board ethernet device... (which works fine).

so which card do you use? which would you recommend?
