Hello, Little problem My webserverSuSE7.2i386/Postfix/Cyrus-Imap on pentium/PC crashed I decided to install Postfix temporarily on a G3 Everything goes fine for the installation of SuSE 7.3 My /var/spool/mail mailboxes are filling up normally but ... Impossible to connect to the G3 server with kmail Impossible to make a POP connexion with the G3 server and to extract thus my mails from the mailbox. alain@lx93:~> telnet localhost 110 Trying ::1... telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused Trying 127.0.0.1... telnet: connect to address 127.0.0.1: Connection refused alain@lx93:~> But connexion to port 25 (SMTP) is possible. It is even possible to send a message. alain@lx93:~> telnet localhost 25 Trying ::1... telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost. I send my /etc/postfix/main.cf config file too. Everything worked fine with my old server. Thus what could be the problem considering that I had no problems with SuSE 7.2i386 Thanks Alain
