Michal, I already did open a bug report, but they don’t seem to think it is a bug. The bugzilla number is 1160495 in case you want to see what they had to say. John

Hello Michal,
The problem I am having with openSUSE on POWER is that when openSUSE is notified by the IBM POWER firmware that the system is running on UPS battery power, it immediately starts a shutdown. It does not wait to see if power is restored, etc. So, if we experience a very short power outages - less then one second - the openSUSE shutsdown. I want to use use openSUSE for an email server, but cannot do that if it is going to shut down everytime there is a power glitch.
This is probably systemd configuration issue. Please open a bug report in bugzilla.
Thanks
Michal
