The iBook G3 come with a white LED that's active if the device sleeps.
On 10.2 during installation you seem to misuse it to signal hard disk activity. How can I disable it?
Does anyone out there rely on the new blinken light feature? Otherwise I will just disable it in the kernel configuration file.
I for one won't miss it.
Yes, but it would be nice if you could make it a runtime option. It is nice to see that there is no HD activity if you run on batteries. I's like to run such a powersaving mode even if the iBook AC connected. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE Linux Products GmbH GPG: 1024D/06EB882E B2A3 AF2F CFC8 40B1 67EA 475A 5903 A21B 06EB 882E --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-ppc+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-ppc+help@opensuse.org
