IBM AS/400 9406/170

Someone has experience with similar midrange IMB server? Is it possible to install Linux on it? Actually it runs OS400 V4.R3.M0 and DB/2. IBM's reference states only iSeries as Linux compatible midrange servers but no any of their predecessors.
