B&W G3 will not boot into MacOS with 7.3

      After installing 7.3 on my sons B&W G3 and setting up lilo it refuses 
to boot in MacOS. I've tried setting the default to and from Linux 
and macos respectively but it freezes whenever it attempts to boot 
the Mac. How can I access the Mac?
