*Audio CDs are not recognised and won't mount
Audio CDs have no filesystem, so noone can mount it. MacOS has a feature to show you the tracks, we don't have it yet.
I'm a bit surprised. I'm sure I had audio CDs working with LinuxPPC2000. No big deal though.
CD work with SuSE in the sense that you can here them, but you cannot mount them like a data CD. And this mounting will not work with LinuxPPC too.
Of course, you're right. I never could mount them but I could hear them. Only now I can't hear them. The CD player (as root or user) won't recognise any audio CDs. Thanks for your long and useful post. Lots to work on. Joss
