v10.2/Alpha 1 won't install on PM 6500

I tried to start the installation on my PowerMac 6500. It has a 250Mhz 603e, 128MB RAM, ATI rage II video. BootX starts and reboots the system, but it locks up on the initial kernel load screen. I have yet to try my Beige G3 or my 9600. I have the same problem with v10.1. v10.0 boots just fine.
