RE: Packet patch for Mandrake 9.0
Tested this Mandrake 9.0 packet patch this weekend. It worked fine for CD-RW, but DVD-RW is still a no go. Once again, I ask if anyone has been able to packet write DVD-RW under Linux yet? cdrwtool gives a "seek error" when trying this and mkudffs only gives an error about "multiple extents". Hi, After apply proper packet patch for Mandrake 9.0 (2.4.19-16mdk), recompile and install new kernel, compile and install cdrwtool 1.0.0b2, run cdrwtool -d /dev/scd0/ -q and I can get only "using /dev/scd0" and "set_options". What to do? Thanks for any help Krzysztof ____________ Virus checked by G DATA AntiVirusKit Version: AVK 11.0.363 from 25.08.2002 Virus news: www.antiviruslab.com
Never happened to me (aka. Works Fine Here (TM) -:)) I use : # cdrwtool -d /dev/scd0 -t 8 -q and, after the usual warning, all I have to do is to wait for it to finish formatting the media. You do wait for it to finish formatting, don't you? kamilos wrote:
