Hi Leo, Thanks for replying so quickly. I tried your solution but got the same error. I posted this problem on the linux-parport@torque.net list. Stephen Mollett who is also actif on this list told me that this function (packet writing to a parallel writer ) is not yet implemented. Was the /dev/pktcdvd0 device already there?
Maybe you want to try moving/removing it and using mknod /dev/pktcdvd0 b 97 0
and then run pktsetup again.
