I have a Mandrake 8.2 (sorry!) on a pentium II 300 MHZ laptop running devfs is mounted I have a parallel external cdwriter I have a usb multimemory reader/writer (MMC & SD, SmartMedia,compactFlash and Memory Stick) I have a internal DVD I was able to compile 2.4.19 with packetwriting and UDF suport I inserted the pkcdvd module and udf module cdrecord -scanbus gives me host 0 the dvd host 1 Multimemory reader/writer host 2 HP 7510e cd writer When I use xcdroast I can burn to my external writer I can also write and read to multimemory reader/writer I can also read dvd's
How can I do packetwriting to the CD-WRITER?
pktsetup /dev/pktcdvd0 /dev/scd0 gives no error though I know scd0 is my internal dvd there is no /dev/scs1 devfs hasn't created one. pktsetup /dev/pktcdvd0 /dev/pg0 gives inappropiate ioctl for device pktsetup /dev/pktcdvd /dev/pg1 gives open cd-rom :no shuch devices can somebody please help me
/dev/scd0 points to my dvd and there's no /dev/scd1. In fact I can't find any file in the /dev directory wich is pointing to my host2?
