Hello,
I wonder if anyone can help me. I desperately want to use packet-cd, but I can't seem to get it to work.
When I use cdrwtool I get the following error from cdrwtool -d /dev/scd0 -q
wait_cmd: Input/output error Command failed: 04 17 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 - sense 03.0c.00 format disc: Illegal seek
I used it on my usb cdrw and my internal/ide cdrw drive. Here's my dmesg output.
Try explicitly formating using -m <blocks> and see if its guessing too high a value for the # of blocks, or just failing to format at all.
